Dental Implants in Morton Grove

Here at New Age Dental, Dr. Krikor (Koko) Papazian and his team are committed to improving your smile. Missing teeth can have a negative impact not only on your self-confidence, but also your oral and overall health. Once our oral surgeon places your implants in our Morton Grove practice, we will fabricate your crowns and dentures in-house, leaving you with a healthy and natural-looking smile.

Dental Implants in Morton Grove

What are Dental Implants?

Dental implants consist of three main parts: the post, the abutment, and the restoration. The implant post replaces your original root and restores stability to your jawbone. The abutment connects your post with your restoration or prosthetic, which serves as your tooth replacement. All three parts of the dental implant treatment restores the missing tooth entirely, benefiting supporting structures, renewed function, and ensuring neighboring teeth don’t shift out of place.

Dental Implant Restorations at New Age Dental

Whether you’re missing an individual tooth or a full arch of teeth, Dr. Koko can effectively fill the gaps in your smile with implant restorations.

Single Unit Dental Implants – At our Morton Grove dental practice, we provide CEREC crowns that can be affixed to dental implant posts. Crowns are made from porcelain, which is considered the best option because of its strength and natural appearance.

Implant-Supported Bridges – Thanks to our in-house lab, we produce bridges that blend seamlessly with your smile. Unlike regular dental bridges, implant-supported bridges are permanently fixed to posts. This eliminates the need to alter existing teeth in order to place the bridge.

Implant-Supported Dentures – Regular dentures tend to slide, which can negatively impact both eating and speaking. Implant-supported dentures do not share these disadvantages, and are not removable; you will have a fixed, permanent smile, with gums that are not sore due to constant movement of removable dentures.

What to Expect

After a thorough examination, the necessary implant or implants will be installed and you will be fitted with a temporary restoration that will allow you to resume normal oral function. At New Age Dental, we offer placement and restoration in house.

Implants are designed to fuse with the jaw bone over time, creating natural and resilient support. When healing has advanced properly, we will place the permanent restoration, giving you a beautiful and fully functional smile.
